blink-182 and MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE 2011

In 2011, the Honda Civic Tour celebrated its 10th anniversary in grand fashion. The return of blink-182, the band that started it all, and the addition of My Chemical Romance was as nostalgic for the fans as it was for the music world. These two groups of seasoned rockers shared the ultimate stage on a tour across the country. Support acts included Manchester Orchestra, Rancid, and Matt and Kim.

Paramore 2010

The legacy of the Honda Civic Tour burns bright, and Paramore is a band that represents the roots of the music that started it all. Fresh off the release of their new album, brand new eyes, Paramore brought a potent mix of energy and passion to the center stage of the 2010 Civic Tour with their power pop hits and punk rock style. Support acts included Tegan and Sara, New Found Glory and Kadawatha.

Panic At The Disco! 2008

Those four devastating young men who call themselves Panic At The Disco rocked the house in '08 like there was no mañana. PATD is signed to Pete Wentz’s Decaydance imprint on influential indie label, Fueled by Ramen. So it was only fitting that PATD followed in the footsteps of Fall Out Boy, who headlined the Civic Tour in '07.

Fall Out Boy 2007

For the 2007 tour, the torch was passed to Fall Out Boy, the innovative rock/pop-punk band from Chicago. Pete Wentz and crew transported fans to a state of musical rapture with some of the best performances in the history of the Civic Tour. Supporting acts included +44 (featuring Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker, formerly of past Civic Tour performers, blink-182), The Academy Is, Paul Wall and Cobra Starship.

Black Eyed Peas 2006

In 2006, will.i.am, Fergie, apl.de.ap and Taboo dazzled fans across the country with their electrifying music, groundbreaking dance and socially conscious lyrics. The Pussycat Dolls and Flipsyde joined the Black Eyed Peas on the nationwide tour.

Maroon 5 2005

Maroon 5 headlined the fifth annual Civic Tour, which also featured Phantom Planet, The Donnas and The Thrills. Known for their reflective lyrics and romantic melodies, Maroon 5 brought their triple-platinum talents to Massachusetts and California and just about everywhere in between. It's no wonder this quintet won the 2005 GRAMMY® Award for Best New Artist.

Dashboard Confessional 2004

With their emotive lyrics and bittersweet melodies, Dashboard Confessional brought a whole new vibe to the Civic Tour. Fronted by singer/songwriter Chris Carrabba, Dashboard Confessional was joined on tour with supporting acts, The Get Up Kids and Thrice, and rotating on various dates: Say Anything, The Format, Motion City Soundtrack, The Movie Life, Head Automatica, Hot Water Music and Val Emmich.

New Found Glory and Good Charlotte 2003

New Found Glory and Good Charlotte tag-teamed the 2003 Civic Tour. After 50 dates and a total audience of 400,000, both bands were ready for some well-deserved R&R. Hot Rod Circuit, Less Than Jake, MXPX, Stretch Armstrong and The Disasters rounded out the bill.

Incubus 2002

In 2002, Incubus brought the Civic Tour to a whole new level. They played a total of 47 shows, proving time and again why they're one of the most popular alt-metal bands of the 21st century. Supporting acts included Hoobastank and Phantom Planet.

blink-182 and then Everclear 2001

2001 marked the inaugural year for the Civic Tour. In support of the album, Take Off Your Pants and Jacket, blink-182 was eager to bring their energetic punk stylings to the road. Opening acts featured Alkaline Trio, No Motiv, Sum 41 and The Ataris. A separate second leg of the Civic Tour featured Everclear, whose grunge-punk flair helped launch a concert series that shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Support acts included American Hi-Fi, Flipp and The Mayfield Four.
