2001 marked the inaugural year for the Civic Tour. In support of the album, Take Off Your Pants and Jacket, blink-182 was eager to bring their energetic punk stylings to the road. Opening acts featured Alkaline Trio, No Motiv, Sum 41, The Ataris. A separate second leg of the Civic Tour featured Everclear, whose grunge-punk flair helped launch a concert series that shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Support acts included American Hi-Fi, Head Automatica and The Mayfield Four.
